چکیده
Fritillaria is highly endangered in their natural habitats, and these species are perennial bulbous plants with an important medicinal ornamental value whose reproductive strategies adaptive evolution mechanisms still not fully clear. Therefore, the of endemic species, like michailovskyi Fomin to detect community structure diversity patterns plants. The current paper on strategy F. michailovskyi, a rare was carried out at Erzincan Horticultural Research Institute, Turkey. Our results indicate that flowering stages may be divided into eight phases. According pollination experiments pollen/ovule ratio, self-incompatibility index (SII) ex-situ population, indicated high levels xenogamy self-incompatibility. It determined mostly depended pollen vectors, effective pollinators were Apis mellifera Bombus terrestris. In addition, average seed number, germination, viability found as 144, 46%, 67%, respectively. stigma receptivity, grains, detected 83%, 252,000, 95%, study first report providing detailed explanation this which could aid genetic conservation valuable taxa.

The population structure of Aphanius anatoliae in Lake Eğirdir-Isparta-Turkey was studied, using 522 fish monthly in 2008. This study were observed in the number of individuals of each sex, age, weight and size compositions. In addition, the total length-weight relationship was calculated as well as the Von Bertalanffy growth equation. A study of the food uptake throughout the year h...

متن کاملReproductive and Pollination Biology of the Endemic Hawaiian Cotton, Gossypium tomentosum (Malvaceae)
Gossypium tomentosum is a cotton species endemic to the Hawaiian Islands. We studied several aspects of its reproductive biology, including potential pollinators, floral biology, and diurnal and seasonal flowering phenology. Flower visitors were observed in G. tomentosum populations on O‘ahu, Kaho‘olawe, and Maui. Primary visitors were introduced species, honeybees and carpenter bees, both of w...
متن کاملMolecular phylogenetic evidence for the monophyly of Fritillaria and Lilium (Liliaceae; Liliales) and the infrageneric classification of Fritillaria.
We present phylogenetic analyses of 37 taxa of Fritillaria (Liliaceae), 15 species of Lilium, and several outgroup taxa from Liliaceae s.s. to investigate the generic delimitation of Fritillaria in relation to Lilium as well as infrageneric relationships within Fritillaria. We used DNA sequences from the maturase-coding plastid matK gene and the trnK intron, the intron of the ribosomal protein-...

This study provides fundamental information on some key aspects of the reproductive traits of qanati tailor fish, Alburnoides qanati, an Iranian endemic, poorly studied cyprinid fish species. Sampling was performed on a monthly basis during one year (from March 2011 through February 2012) from a tributary of endorheic Kor River Basin, Southern Iran. The results of data analyzing showed that the...
